Unfortunately, I wasn’t very impressed with my experience. I reserved a spot in advance from my phone, yet there was still quite a wait. Once I did get a table, service was quite slow to respond to me. They were busy, and I understand that, but I was close to wanting to leave because no one was even coming to my table to bring me a water after quite some time. I don’t know this for sure, and I’m only speculating, but it felt like bigger tables received attention, but the single person with a much smaller ending check (means smaller tip) was neglected. Once I was tended to, I ordered. The sales that came was quite lame. A $24 steak, and the salad had no cheese, croutons, cucumbers, nothing. I received wilted lettuce that was partially frozen, and dressing. That’s it. Was expecting more from $24 steak and a place that was nice. The Mexican cheese balls were pretty good. The steak was a bit tough, and dry as well. There was juice on the plate, so I could mop ghat up a bit, but not sure where it came from, because the steak itself was was fairly dry. The cheesy hash browns were ok, but again, it was cheese slices, instead of grated cheese. This is a low budget diner way to make cheesy hash browns. A nice steakhouse should be grating cheese, instead of using Kraft singles. It’s very possible that I could have a better experience on another trip, but the lame salad and cheap cheese option would still be there, even if the staff paid attention to me and the steak was tender and juicy. I’d be willing to try it again, but I’m not excited to, nor is it on the top of my list. Too many good places around that get my attention, but it’s not out of the question.
Our family had a fabulous experience. The restaurant is using a website to take reservations and you just keep moving up the list. While this may be inconvenient for some, I now realize the experience is worth it. Just plan on spending some money and eating a few calories. It is worth every penny.
I had a fabulous experience! Our server was awesome and the food was the best! I had the best steak I've ever had! The portions were so filling I will defiantly be comming back here yum!
Awesome place! Great atmosphere, staff, and owners. Unique dining experience that combines a traditional steak house with extraordinary food, drinks, and service. Fun place to be!
They do steak right! The aged ribeye and petite tenderloin with grilled shrimp were our choices tonight, and they did not disappoint. Steaks were cooked to perfection. Our server could not have been nicer. Everything was delish and on point! Highly recommend!
New York Strips were fatty and bland. Cheeseballs were very good, and waitress was very nice and helpful. But the other ones in the kitchen who kept eating and then grabbing food/drinks while we could see them is a big reason why I dropped down from 4 stars to 3. That is crazy management allows that to happen. Got there at 5:10 and place was full by 5:45.
I was disappointed, considering this is supposed to be a national top 10 rated steak restaurant. First the atmosphere was bare bones. Tables with no tablecloths, it looked like an old diner, plus it was super loud. Second the salad was lame, a handful of lettuce and dressing- no cheese, croutons, or onions. Relish tray was very average, pickles, celery, carrot sticks, a few cheese cubes. I thought the steak would awesome, but I was wrong. Paid $32 for a ribeye with a handful of McDonald's looking fries (except not as good). The steak was bland and way too fatty- probably 30% was just fat. The service was good, and courteous.
Best steaks best price. Been coming here for 50 years and there is nothing as good or as reasonable. Is the atmosphere amazing no. But all things considered the best steak and wine you will ever find.
